Advancing accessibility in Canada's screen sector
Information
Accessibility and inclusion are key to building a stronger, more representative Canadian screen industry. In this session, the Disability Screen Office (DSO) will showcase its newly launched accessibility database, the Industry Resource Hub, and offer an exclusive sneak peek of its upcoming Best Practices Guide. The session will also highlight findings from the Disabled Producers Lab in partnership with the National Screen Institute, presented by facilitator Ophira Calof. Joined by Telefilm Canada, the Canada Media Fund, and AMI, all of whom are committed to advancing inclusive practices, the discussion will explore embedding accessibility as a core industry standard.
Moderated by Winnie Luk, Executive Director, Disability Screen Office (DSO).
